# Treasury

> Manage your Squad's assets, sub-accounts, and transfers

The Treasury holds your Squad's assets across one or more sub-accounts. Every transfer in or out requires approval based on your threshold, so no single member can move funds alone.

## Organize with sub-accounts

Every Squad starts with one default [sub-account](/app-guide/treasury/sub-accounts). Create additional sub-accounts to separate funds by purpose. A typical setup might look like:

| Sub-account | Purpose |
| - | - |
| **Operations** | Day-to-day expenses, salaries, vendor payments |
| **Reserves** | Long-term holdings, stablecoins, runway |
| **Grants** | Outbound funding, community programs |

Each sub-account has its own Solana address and inherits your Squad's multisig security. Assets stay isolated between sub-accounts unless you explicitly move them.

## Send and receive tokens

Transfer tokens to any Solana address or pay multiple recipients at once. All outbound transfers create a proposal that members approve before execution.

## Supported assets

Squads supports SPL tokens on Solana, including SOL, USDC, USDT, governance and utility tokens, wrapped tokens (wSOL), and Token-2022 standard tokens.

  Some NFTs and compressed assets may not display or transfer correctly. Avoid using NFTs with Squads to avoid potential complications.
