# Send tokens

> Transfer tokens from your Squad to any Solana address

Send tokens from your Squad to any Solana address. All transfers require approval based on your Squad's threshold before they execute.

## Send to a wallet address

  <Step title="Start the transfer">
    Navigate to **Treasury** in the sidebar. Select **Send**, then choose **Send to a wallet**.

  <Step title="Enter recipient details">
    Enter the recipient's Solana address or select from [Contacts](/app-guide/treasury/contacts), then select **Next**. To pay several recipients at once, select **Add recipient** (see [Batch send](/app-guide/treasury/transfers/batch-transfers)).

  <Step title="Select the source sub-account and amount">
    Under **Send from**, select the sub-account holding the tokens. Choose the token and enter the amount, then select **Next**.

  <Step title="Review and submit">
    Review the details and select **Initiate**. The proposal appears in your **Transactions** page for members to approve.

Once the proposal reaches your Squad's approval threshold, a member with Execute permission can execute it.

<Warning>
  When sending to centralized exchanges, always test with a small amount first. Some exchanges do not recognize transfers from multisig addresses.

## Best practices

* **Double-check addresses.** Transfers cannot be reversed once executed.
* **Use Contacts.** Save frequently used addresses to avoid copy-paste errors.
* **Test with small amounts.** When sending to a new address or exchange, send a small test amount first.

  **Can I reverse a transfer?**

  No. Once a proposal is executed onchain, it cannot be reversed. Always verify the recipient address and amount before approving.

  **Can I cancel a pending transfer?**

  Yes. A proposal can be rejected or cancelled before it is executed. Navigate to the proposal in **Transactions** and select **Reject**. If the proposal is already approved and waiting for execution, select **Cancel** instead.
