# Program & Token Management

> Secure program upgrades and token authorities with multisig approval

**For development teams securing program upgrade authorities and token permissions.**

Squads lets you transfer program upgrade authorities, manage token mint and freeze permissions, and build custom onchain transactions, all with multi-party approval.

## What you can do

  If you lose access to enough member keys to meet the threshold, you will not be able to upgrade the program. Verify your Squad's threshold and member list before transferring authority.
