# Validator Operations

> Manage validator keys with multisig security

**For secure Solana validator operations.**

Squads lets you secure identity, vote, and withdrawal authority keys with multisig approval, eliminating single points of failure in validator operations.

## What you can do

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card icon="key" href="/app-guide/developer-assets/validators" title="Secure validator keys">
    Transfer withdrawal and vote authorities to your Squad.
  </Card>

  <Card icon="sliders" href="/app-guide/developer-assets/validators" title="Manage operations">
    Propose commission and collector changes, authority transitions, and reward withdrawals.
  </Card>

  <Card icon="wrench" href="/app-guide/developer-assets/transaction-builder" title="Build custom transactions">
    Compose custom onchain instructions for operations not covered by built-in features.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Warning>
  Transferring validator authorities is irreversible without meeting your Squad's threshold. Verify your member list and threshold configuration before transferring any authority.
</Warning>
