SquadsX is a browser extension that lets you connect your Squad to Solana apps. Instead of using a regular wallet, SquadsX routes actions through your Squad so every interaction is protected by your multisig threshold.
SquadsX requires a Pro subscription. See pricing for details.

What SquadsX does

SquadsX works like a standard Solana wallet, but uses one of your Squad’s sub-accounts as the active address (Account 1 by default). When you take an action in a Solana app (swapping tokens, depositing into a lending protocol, creating a vesting schedule), SquadsX converts that action into a proposal inside your Squad. The proposal then follows your normal approval flow before executing. This means your Squad can interact with any compatible Solana app while keeping multisig security on every action.

When to use SquadsX

SquadsX is designed for Solana apps that are not directly integrated into the Squads interface. For actions available natively in Squads (swaps, limit orders, DCA, staking), use the built-in features instead — they are optimized for the multisig workflow. Use SquadsX when you need to:
  • Deposit into or withdraw from lending and borrowing protocols
  • Provide liquidity on external DEXs
  • Interact with vesting, airdrop, or payroll platforms
  • Access any other Solana app from your Squad
See the full list of tested apps on the compatible apps page.

How it works

When you connect SquadsX to a Solana app and take an action:
  1. The app creates a standard transaction using your Squad’s address
  2. SquadsX converts that transaction into a multisig proposal
  3. The proposal appears in your Squad’s Transactions page
  4. Members approve or reject the proposal based on your threshold
  5. Once approved, the proposal executes and the action takes effect in the app
SquadsX works best with apps that do not require immediate execution. Multisig proposals need approval from multiple members before they execute, so there is a delay between initiating an action and completing it.

Key things to know

  • SquadsX uses its own key. During setup, the extension generates a dedicated key, or lets you pick one you already have in the extension. This key is added to your Squad with Proposer permission only — it can create proposals but cannot approve or execute them.
  • Fee Relayer support. If Fee Relayer is enabled, SquadsX proposals are paid from your Squad’s SOL balance. If disabled, the SquadsX key needs its own SOL for fees.
  • One Squad at a time. A connected app sees a single address: the vault of the Squad and sub-account selected in SquadsX when you connected. You can switch keys, Squads and sub-accounts in the extension, but the app is not notified, so reconnect the app to use the new address. One SquadsX key can be a proposer in several Squads, as long as it is registered as the SquadsX key in each.
Can SquadsX approve or execute proposals? No. The SquadsX key has Proposer permission only. It creates proposals that other members must approve and execute through the Squads app. What happens if a Solana app is not on the compatible list? You can still try connecting. The compatible list reflects apps that have been tested. Some apps may work but have not been verified. If you run into issues, contact support on Discord. Is SquadsX available on Firefox or other browsers?SquadsX is currently available as a Chrome extension only.Does SquadsX work with hardware wallets?SquadsX uses its own generated key, separate from your personal wallet. Your hardware wallet is used to approve proposals in the Squads app, not in SquadsX itself.
