Overview
Here’s everything you need to know about fees when using Squads.Network Fees
Network fees are paid to the Solana network for processing transactions. Squads transactions cost more than regular wallet transactions because multisigs require more computation and storage.Common Operations
Network fees vary slightly depending on network conditions and transaction complexity.
Why Are Fees Higher Than Regular Wallets?
Squads uses smart accounts to enforce multisig logic. Smart accounts require more computation and storage than traditional wallets. A portion of these fees are rent for storing data onchain. You can recover rent from finalized transactions using the Rent Reclaim feature.Platform Fees
Creating a Squad also deposits 0.001 SOL into the new Squad and pays network rent for its account.
All network fees are charged by Solana. Squads does not charge fees on transactions except for Limit Orders. The DCA fee is charged by Jupiter, which runs DCA orders.
