Large Transaction Problem - Squads Multisig

Overview

Large transactions can exceed Solana’s transaction size limits, causing failures when used with SquadsX and other Smart Wallets.

Problem

Solana transactions have size limits. When transactions are wrapped for multisig execution, additional overhead is added, which can push large transactions over the limit.

Solution

Use Address Lookup Tables (ALTs) and Versioned Transactions to reduce the transaction size. Address Lookup Tables allow you to reference accounts by index rather than including full public keys, significantly reducing transaction size.
